Wild Folk was founded by Amy Walsh, a Forest School Leader in-training with a background in environmental education and play work.
Amy loves being outdoors helping people discover the magic in nature, build their confidence and learn skills to create a socially and environmentally-conscious society.
I’m training to be a Level 3 Forest School Leader with Jackie from Go Wild Education.
I’m a qualified Outdoor First Aider.
I hold a Level 2 Play Work certificate.
I studied Community-Engaged Learning and Education for Sustainable Development within my MSc Education Policy & International Development at University of Bristol.
I studied BSc Geography at University of Exeter.
I have delivered a range of engagement projects in the education, community and environmental sectors over the past 7 years.
I love being creative and experimenting with new ideas and collaborations.
When I’m not in the woods, you’ll usually find me drinking tea with my cat and rescue hens.
